Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is perfectly situated for the World Mountain Biking Championships and offers a convenient location for accessing the ski lift. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, making the stay enjoyable. However, the dining experience was a bit limited in options, and the arrival of a group affected breakfast availability briefly.
My stay at the hotel was wonderful. The rooms were basic but clean, comfortable, and warm, with crisp white bedding and a comfortable bed. The service was outstanding, with exceptional staff in the reception, bar, and restaurant. However, there was one rude encounter with the Maitre D'. The location was brilliant, just a short walk to the gondola, and convenient for mountain biking events. The dining experience was satisfactory, mainly continental with a good choice, but limited hot options. The facilities were well-maintained and offered a cozy atmosphere.
I had a wonderful stay at Xalet Verdu. The rooms were big and spacious, spotlessly clean, and offered a stunning view from the balcony. While the bed was comfy, I found the room overly warm, needing to keep the window open most of the time. The location was excellent for exploring nearby walking trails and accessing the gondola easily. However, I did experience noise from late bars and an early morning arrival of school kids on one occasion. The dining experience offered a good variety of options, though some dishes were not to my taste. Overall, a great value for the money.
